AI in the workspace
Ask the project. Let the agent do the careful parts.
Utter AI reads the same issues, docs, comments, and project context your team uses. It helps draft work, summarize status, prepare handoffs, and connect coding agents without turning your project system into a black box.

AI
Utter AI is a project-aware assistant built into your workspace. It answers questions about your work using real workspace context, so you ask about sprint risk, blocked issues, release scope, or recent comments without pasting anything in. It drafts issues from a short description, filling in a title, type, and body you can edit before saving. Every action an AI agent takes stays traceable on the issue, so a change made by an agent reads the same as one made by a person, with a clear record of who did what. It also helps with handoffs between people and agents, keeping the context attached to the ticket instead of scattered across chats. The AI agents themselves are bring-your-own: you connect an external agent over MCP (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or any MCP client), and Utter orchestrates and records the work rather than running the model.
What it does
Product work, not a blank chatbot.
Project-aware answers
Ask about sprint risk, blocked work, release scope, or recent comments. The assistant uses workspace context instead of making you paste it.
Issue drafting
Turn rough ideas into shaped issues with type, acceptance criteria, labels, and a clear next action before the team sees it.
Traceable agent actions
Agent-created comments, transitions, and issue updates stay visible in activity history so review does not depend on chat memory.
Better handoffs
Summarize long threads, prepare status updates, and turn implementation notes into comments that teammates can act on.
Human review points
Use approvals for meaningful changes and keep high-risk actions gated by the same permissions your workspace already uses.
From chat to workflow
Move from one question to a real task, comment, import, or agent run without switching surfaces or copying context around.
Agent ready
Bring your coding tools without losing control.
Use MCP and installable skills so Claude, Cursor, and other agents can read the right context and make traceable changes. Humans still see what changed, who changed it, and where it lives.
